Ironing boards... How many times have you taken your ironing board for granted? I know I used to (in fact I'd try and avoid using it at all cost!) but after being without one for a few months, I love having a new one.
I can't even remember where my old one went, I can't remember it breaking. But I guess it must have, otherwise I'd still have it. I really have no excuse for not replacing it straightaway, probably burying my head in the sand and pretending I didn't really need to iron? I would use the kitchen worktop covered in a towel, to do what REALLY needed to be done.
Yesterday, I ordered the darling other half to take me to Asda to buy one. Although, it was like something out of a comedy. (I hadn't thought it through).
It took us almost 10 minutes to get it into the car... bleeding heck, I can't wait until we have the estate back. :D I'm sick of having a small 3 door hatch. We tried this way, that way, and the other way, but we were still scratching our heads.
However, I do feel those 10 minutes were worth it... I like ironing once again.
I have ironed everything I've washed since the weekend, and started ironing the babygro's I've bought for baby, and vests, and the Muslin Squares are done.

Talking of baby, we had a wonderful appointment with the midwife today. Everything is looking good. :)
Baby is head down, with the head resting on the brim of the pelvis, which means baby is getting ready to put in an appearance. Could still be weeks yet though. :'(
I've been prescribed iron tablets for my anaemia, and co-codamol for my Pelvic Girdle Pain. So hopefully should be feeling slightly better soon.
I've got a wonderful bump, which is never the same shape for too long, and I can't wait to meet this little wriggler who insists on sticking it's bum up under my ribs.

We've had a breakthrough with Little Man today, he actually put his coat on to go to school WITHOUT crying. And didn't cry as he left the house either...
He also ate all his lunch in school, AND his tea.

Either way, I shouldn't continue on too long now, as I'm tired and rambling.
