39+0 WEEKS (7 DAYS TO GO!!!!!)
Ok, so I didn't do exactly as I'd planned. In fact it was completely different to what I HAD planned. But was still relatively successful.. well in my opinion at least. :)
I was planning on tackling my iron pile, but that wasn't very interesting in all honesty.. In fact I think I'd rather scratch my @rse atm. lol.
I made the plan to do it, and that is what counts. The fact it didn't work out as planned is irrespective. :)
What did I do today?
I shopped. :D Spent the wonderful amount of £55, and £22 of that went on fuel for the car, so successful? Much. :) And I'm very proud of myself. :)
It's my Nan's birthday on Wednesday, so I needed to find a present for her. (She would like a new great-grandchild, but seeing as that may not happen, I thought I'd better buy her a gift.) But, here we encounter a problem, what do you buy a woman who has everything she needs?
I settled for an Olay bath set, as my Nan enjoys her bath, and likes her bubble bath too. :) It isn't a great deal, but will be appreciated.
Secondly, Little Man has a birthday party on Sunday. Twin girls, who are 5. Gifts were needed for them. My dilemma, do I buy one or two gifts? They are individual children, so I settled for 2 (each). They both will receive a Bratz art set, and a colouring book. All children love to colour, and most little girls like Bratz, so I figure I can't really lose. :) And I also picked up a 'make your own card' set. So me and Little Man can spend a few hours tomorrow evening, making them a card each! :) Unique? Very. :)
As well as these, I bought a few more bits for Little Man's stocking, chocolate, bubble bath, a colouring set, and felt art colouring book. Just as little bits to finish off. :) So I think my Christmas Shopping for Little Man is almost complete... But I still have everyone else to sort out.
J is going to be my biggest challenge I think... I've no idea what he wants.. I've had thoughts but none seem to materialise. :( Oh well.
My favourite blog post of today is 'joy to your heart and soul', taken from 'Too Many Things in My Head'. The author, Umatji, is a Mum of two, who is creative and inspiring, and I thoroughly enjoy reading everything she has to say! Thanks Umatji! :)
